Bookings are subject to the following terms and conditions:

• A contract between you and the owner will come into existence when payment is received and a booking confirmation is issued showing the confirmed holiday dates. The contract binds you & all the members of your party. It is your responsibility to ensure that all members of your party accept the terms of the contract set out in these terms & conditions of booking. Failure to disclose all relevant information or comply with these terms may lead to termination of the contract & loss of the booking.

• A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking. It is also possible to pay the full cost of the stay upon booking. You will be notified of the remaining balance to be paid no later than 28 days prior to your arrival.

• All cancellations must be notified in writing to seaviewtipis@gmail.com. If you cancel your holiday more than 28 days before it is due to start, then you will be refunded in full less the deposit. If you cancel less than 28 days before the stay, then the full balance remains due and is not refundable.

• We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations. If you choose not to, then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.

• Your booking will not be cancelled by the owner except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.

• The maximum number of persons using the accommodation at any time must not exceed 2 persons in the 14ft tipis and 4 persons in the 18ft tipis and only those listed on the booking form can occupy the property. We reserve the right to terminate the booking without notice and without refund in case of a breach of this condition.

• Bookings cannot be accepted from persons under twenty years of age.

• The owner reserves the right to refuse a booking.

• We or our representatives reserve the right to enter the property at any time to undertake essential maintenance or for inspection purposes. Prior notification of our doing so will be given to the guests.

• Check in time is from 4pm. Check out time is 10.30am. This allows the accommodation to be thoroughly cleaned and prepared for incoming guests. We are flexible though, so just give us a shout if you want to arrive or leave outside of these times.

•  Vaping or smoking anywhere inside the tipis will result in immediate termination of occupancy and forfeiture of all payments. This must be strictly adhered to and any damage or extra cleaning caused by smoking will be at the expense of you.

• Dogs are welcome at Seaview Tipis. Please notify us if you are bringing a dog.
  -Please don’t let dogs onto the furniture 

• Dogs are required to be on leads inside the campsite grounds.

• Please clear up after your dog.
  -Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs at all times. We can offer dog sitting subject to availability - ask your host for more information.

• Damage deposit – In making a booking you accept responsibility for any theft, breakage or damage caused by you, pets or any member of your party and agree to indemnify us in full for any loss that we may incur as a result.

• Damages and breakages – please treat the facilities & accommodation with due care so that other guests may continue to enjoy them. If you notice something is missing or damaged in your accommodation, please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. If there has been any damage or breakages during your stay, we would be grateful if you could report them promptly, especially before check-out. The accommodation will be inspected at the end of the holiday & you may be charged for any loss or damage.

• Please do not move any furniture from one tipi to another.

• Please remove shoes before entering the tipis.

• Please close the gates and secure your possessions before leaving the tipis. The owners are not responsible for the loss of any personal belongings or valuables of the guest and all belongings are left at the owner’s risk.

• Please make sure you leave no trace – we are an eco-friendly set up and wish to keep the site as we found it.

• Please use the bins & recycling points provided.

• The owner reserves the right to make a charge to cover additional cleaning costs if the client leaves the tipi in an unacceptable condition.

• The owner shall not be liable for any temporary defect or malfunction of any equipment, machinery or appliance on site.

• No compensation will be given for any temporary outage of gas or water.

• Please park your vehicles in the designated parking space, ensuring cars do not block access to other vehicles or gates. Parking is limited to 2 vehicles per stay.

• Please respect the community and keep noise levels to a minimum, especially between 11pm and 8am. No amplified music is to be played during these times.

• We reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation where the unreasonable behaviour of the persons named on the booking (or their guests) may impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of others.

• We provide a fire pit for each tipi to use for cooking or heat. Guests must appoint a competent individual, who isn't under the influence of alcohol or drugs, to be responsible for the safe use and extinguishing of the fire or stove. Fire extinguishers are available in each tipi to use in the event of an emergency.

• Guests must not move the fire pit once it is put in place.

• Any problem or complaint which the client may have concerning their holiday must be immediately reported directly to us/our representatives and we will endeavour to put matters right. Any complaints not reported to us/the tipis manager at the time and only reported after the client has returned from holiday will not be considered by the proprietor.

• Should we deem the tipis unsafe to occupy due to extreme winds (exceeding 45mph) we will notify all campers of site closure and offer full refunds. We have a wind management plan for the site & will review weather conditions daily in regards to our guests’ safety.

• We advise that you come prepared for all weathers. 

• Seaview Tipis site is located in an enclosed field with brick walls and fencing, as we are located near the south west coast path.  The surrounding area should be approached with caution by guests who stay with us. Please take notice of the signage around the site.

• We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments or additions to these terms and conditions without notice.

• This property is privately owned. We expect all guests to enjoy the facilities and treat the property with the same respect that they would with their own land

IF SEAVIEW TIPIS IS POSTPONED TO NEW DATES

All bookings will be automatically transferred to the new dates at no extra charge and we hope you can attend. If not, we will be in touch to let you know how to claim a refund.
